Jean
Todt began his career as a rally co-driver. Turning then to the
management side of things, he guided the Peugeot Talbot Sport Team
to numerous successes in Sports Cars.
Todt
joined Ferrari in 1993 and took on the role as Team Principal; determined
to take the team back to the top, he does his damnedest to make
sure the team is a success. As a huge fan of Schumacher, he is the
reason Michael has his number one status and huge pay packet.
2000
and after the hard battle he took Ferrari to the top and made them
a force to be reckoned with. But could this be the end? Rumours
are that he has completed his ambition and he maybe set to retire?
Where would Ferrari go without him? Some people think that he is
the person that can only keep Ferrari at the top? We shall see but
neither Ferrari would want the little Frenchman to leave.
In
2001 he went one step further and again gave Ferrari another title
for the shelf and led Schumacher to another world title. This guys
talent is endless and he is a very hard worker. His job of keeping
everyone motivated and employeed within the team has well paid off.
2002
and can Todt move Ferrari anymore forward than where they ended
in 2002? Nearly all records broken, the F2002 is unbeatable. There
are always rumours that he will end is career any season now but
every year he keeps coming back. Alot of people also say that without
Todt in the team then there wouldn't be any Ferrari anymore. |
