| Born
June 15th 1955 in Bloomington, Illinois USA. Currently reside in Tampa,
Florida USA.
Interests
in motor vehicles began at age 9 with the attendance of my 1st Indianapolis
500 won by the late Jimmy Clark.
Progressed
to Kart racing in my early teens while I began flying airplanes
with my father who is an ex WW2 P-51 Mustang pilot. I continue to
attend the Indy 500 yearly and 2002 was my 34th event with 23 consecutive
races. Began following Formula One™ in 1979 with the South
African Jody Scheckter. I am also the graduate of two professional
racing schools. Skip Barber and Bertil Roos. Road racing and ovals
respectively.
Also
an avid CART fan having attended over 200 events to date. Began
attending F1 in 1990 at the US GP in Phoenix and also the following
and final year of our GP having seen the late Ayrton Senna win both
events. After we lost our GP I attended the Canadian GP seeing Gerhard
Berger, Alain Prost and Michael Schumacher take wins.
With
the return of our GP in 2000 I again returned to the Indianapolis
Motor Speedway seeing Michael Schumacher retake the points lead
on his way to his 3rd World Drivers’ Championship followed
by his fine teammate Rubens Barrichello placing 2nd. I attended
the 2001 event and saw an interesting win by the great Mika Hakkinen
taking what was his final win in F1.
Served
as the president of one of Michael Schumacher’s fan clubs
for two years. My profession is electronics and computer networking.
Other hobbies of mine include my high performance cars, racing simulations,
electronic music composition, and traveling to racing events.
I
am a member of the following organizations: Ferrari owner’s
club, Ferrari club of America, C.A.R.T winner’s circle, World
War 2 memorial, Planetary Society and the N.R.A.
