READING:
He defines himself as a big fan of reading, he is frequently found engrossed in a book. His favourite book is "Wilt" by Tom Sharp. But the most surprising thing about Marc, is his fondness for reading magazines. He subscribes to "The Economist", "Business Week", "Newsweek", "Le Point" and "Focus". He enjoys himself acquiring new knowledge.

CINEMA:
He loves the big screen, and he goes whenever he can escape to one. "The Untouchables of Elliot Ness" is his favorite. His favorite actors are Al Pacino, Robert de Niro and Charles Chaplin.

TELEVISION AND RADIO:
He likes very much the news and he watches the news of BBC World and Euronews. He also enjoys with the animal's documentaries.

HOBBIES:
He is very keen on learning different languages, he likes the idea of communicating with people from different countries. This year he is studying French, Italian, German and most of the press and books he reads are in English. He likes going to the cinema. He works out or practices sport (swimming, jogging, riding his mountain bike, climbing, diving and tennis) almost everyday. He does a lot of karting during the off-season, and in summer he enjoys water sports. He practices sport for the racing and because he feels a lot better if he is physically and mentally fit.

FOOD:
He is not too complicated with food, and as a good Catalan enjoys "bread with tomato and jamón (cured, salted ham)". He loves pasta and really enjoys the paellas cooked by his father on Sundays. As a cook he considers himself self-sufficient.

IDEAL TRIP:
When he talks about the ideal place to travel he always considers one factor, avoiding crowded places. That is why he likes going to the Costa Brava in winter and going to the mountains in summer time. From the countries visited so far, he enjoyed very much in Kenya and Puerto Piramides in Argentina. However, he also has a special memory of Boracay.

FAMILY:
He has a very good relation with his parents and his 2 brothers, who are already married. Marc has five nephews. Marc lives with his girlfriend in Sant Quirze. They are a very united family. He has a very good relationship with both his parents and his brothers. His brother Jordi has been a very good influence from the early days when he was Karting. All of them have always been by his side expressing their opinions.

STUDIES/WORK:
Marc was born with a burning curiosity and the desire to learn and to know. He has the degree of Economics. He considers himself as a self-taught person. He has always affirmed that he loves to study, and that when he finishes his adventure in car racing, he would like to study a MBA. On addition, Marc has been working from 1998 to 1999 in Price Waterhouse Coopers.
