Bernie defends Schumi again - 5th September 18:56pm GMT |
Bernie Ecclestone has dismissed claims Formula One is boring and rubbish. The F1 supremo insists his sport is in good shape, despite a fifth-consecutive world championship for Michael Schumacher. Ecclestone said: “The Press says it’s boring so it becomes the thing to say. “People want to think it’s boring because Schumacher wins but I’m disappointed he lost Monaco. “I wish he’d won all the races because, every race, people watch to see if somebody beats him. “There’s always that anticipation and they want to be there to watch it. The rest of the race is super down the field.” |
