Felipe Massa seems to be sending out mixed messages as to what he will be doing in 2007. Two weeks ago it was reported that he has a race seat for 2007 and he won't be a test driver. Now today he has been quoted saying that he doesn't know what he will be doing next year.
Speaking at a Shell promotional event in London on Wednesday, Massa admitted his ’07 plans are still up in the air.
But he said he was “quite optimistic” that his impressive performances in a supporting role to Schumacher would be rewarded.
“This year I was very competitive with Michael all the time, I’m third in the championship, I think it’s a very good first year in a top team,”.
“So I’ve pretty much been showing people what I can do, and what I could do in the future with a little bit more experience.
“I’m really looking forward to having a good future, to stay in a good team.
“At the moment everything is open, but hopefully pretty soon we’re going to know what’s going on.
“I’m quite optimistic.” |
