Ferrari's Michael Schumacher has been summoned to appear in front of the race stewards at Hungary, for passing under a red flag.
The third practice session was cut short with a red flag, after Jenson Button's Honda car caught fire from an engine failure.
Rules state cars must slow down when the red flag is out, and proceed to the pits without overtaking on track.
Schumacher is believed to have passed BMW's Robert Kubica as well as Red Bull's David Coulthard, and the stewards are currently investigating the matter.
If Schumacher is found guilty, he could receive a similar punishment to that of his championship rival Fernando Alonso, who yesterday was penalised by the stewards for, among other, passing under yellow flags.
For that part of his misconduct, Alonso will have one second (of a total two seconds) added to each of his qualifying times. |
