Betting results from the Hungarian GP - 17th August 21:33pm GMT

Back to the disapointing weekends I think. I got a few right but the ones I didn't was the ones that I put down the most money on. But these things happen and there are still 4 more races before the end of the season to add to the kitty.

Bet 1: Raikkonen to outqualify Montoya (7/10). Blame Mclaren for that one for deciding to use the wrong tyre compound and thus meaning lack of grip and a very low grid spot for both Mclarens. Bet £25 and lost £25.

Bet 2: Button to outqualify Montoya (4/5). Despite his problems with BAR he still able to secure a decent spot on the grid. Although his race was something else together and was an average performance. Bet £20 and won £36.

Bet 3: Trulli to outqualify Barrichello (9/10). Barrichello overcame his recent bad qualifying performances by a decent 2nd and certainly gave Schumi a run for his money in the pre qualifying. But, unfortunatly Trulli had another bad weekend and it seems now that he has lost his early season form. Bet £15 and lost £15.

Bet 4: Pizzonia to finish the race (37/100). No problems again for Williams and another solid drive by Antonio although somehow I think Williams really want Ralf back as quick as possible as you can't be expecting to fight for a couple of points when the car is capable of more. Bet £20 and won £27.40

Bet 5: Heidfeld to finish the race (3/4). Another finish for Heidfeld although its not much comfort for the team who still are suffering. Pantano didn't finish again but luckily I didn't bet on that and won't be in the future. Bet £10 and won £17.50.

A grand total of £9.10 was lost this weekend. So it could of been worse. Just goes to show that when a driver has been doing well/badly in the last couple of races it change and become the opposite. The grand total now after the 13th round is £16.95. Next stop, Belgium.
