Michael Schumacher will have an improved
Ferrari at his disposal in Hungary next week, but technical boss
Ross Brawn has warned he has little more to give the world champion.
Brawn, Ferrari's technical director, has overseen
an improvement to the car, which has already been good enough to
power Schumacher to 11 wins from 12 races this season.
Schumacher has had to fight harder for his wins
in recent races as the likes of Renault and McLaren reaped the rewards
of their development programmes.
Now Ferrari will hit back with new parts for the
Hungarian Grand Prix but Brawn is warning that is likely to be the
end of the improvements.
He said: "In Hungary we should have another
step on the tyres but the chassis is probably frozen now for the
rest of the season.
"There are small bits on the engine but most
of the performance gain for the rest of the year will come from
the work we are doing with the tyres." |
