Brawn chats to Ferrari fans - 7th August 19:16pm GMT

Q: May I ask your back injury? Have you been recovered from that suffer completely?
A: The back is good _ i had all the knives removed..!!

Q: Mr Brawn, do you think Michael's mistake today (Silverstone Saturday qualifying) may have damaged the car?
A: No damage to the car _ just to Michael's pride

Q: Ros - Did you enjoy Goodwood?
A: Goodwood was fantastic, great to see all you tifosi out there

Q: Does Michael know he topped the ITV pole for the driver the Brits most wanted to win this weekend? Good eh?! 26% of all votes cast, I think
A: I heard he topped the pole and Ralf was second - he was chuffed

Q: do you eat bananas during the race still now?
A: I am still eating bananas, it is a tradition

Q: Mr Brawn, how do you handle your drivers making mistakes like how Rubens did yestreday (Silverstone Friday qualifying) and Michael today?
A: The drivers are under huge pressure and the slightest mistake is seen by everybody. Our mistakes often go unnoticed, so we always support our drivers whatever is happening.

Q: Do you plan any major evolution to come on the car in the next races ?
A: We have a new aero package for the low downforce races of Monza and Indianapolis. I must say that this year feels like the old days - new developments at every race!

Q: Mr Brawn, have you ever thought of developing a double clutch gearbox?
A: We have been studying a double clutch gearbox for a few years but we have not realised sufficient benefit yet to justify manufacture.

Q: Where are you and all your family living Mr Brawn ? in maranello or close by ?
A: My wife and I live in Maranello and our two daughters, now in their twenties, are following their careers in England.

Q: do you miss roast beef, yorkshire pud and gravy?
A: I love Italian food (sometimes too much!) but I do like to have an English Sunday roast sometimes.

Q: Ross what is your favourite Ferrari GT car from the design point of view ?
A: My favourite old Ferrari is the 275 GTB4 and my favourite new Ferrari is the 575 Maranello.

Q: What's the car you use to drive to the market Mr Brawn?
A: I have a Maserati Coupe for everyday use and I can borrow a Ferrari when the mood takes me (lucky boy!).
