Bridgestone Motorsport’s 7.5 tonne tyre truck carrying its precious “Black Gold of Formula One” was in action last night (Monday 5 July) bringing up the rear of the long convoy of Formula One team trucks entering London for this evening’s highly publicised “Formula One Comes to Regent Street” event.

The convoy, which started from the Heston Service area on the M4, departed under police escort at approximately 9pm last night, ensuring a smooth journey into London prior to setting up for this evening’s adrenalin-filled activities.

Three of Bridgestone’s Formula One teams: Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, Jordan Ford and Wilux Minardi Cosworth; are taking part in the run down Regent Street, necessitating Bridgestone to transport its essential Potenza Formula One tyres and tyre fitting equipment into London.
