Shell oils for the Canadian GP - 7th June 20:31pm GMT

Fuel

* Given the high average speed in Canada, cars will have to put more open track between them and their opponents than in Germany to be able to pit and hold position.

* Cars will exceed 300km/h three times a lap in Canada, making pit stop selection vital, as time spent stationary is heavily penalised.

* Given that both Ferrari drivers opted for different fuel strategies in Germany, Ferrari will retain Shell V-Power ULG60 as its flexibility will be particularly useful in Canada.

Engine Lubricant

* Shell Helix SL907 will be retained for use in Canada and the USA.
