Second day of testing this week for Scuderia
Ferrari Marlboro at the Monza circuit. Today, two Brazilian drivers
were in action: Felipe Massa continued with a Bridgestone tyre development
programme, at the wheel of an F2002, while Rubens Barrichello gave
the F2003-GA its debut at this circuit. The car was fitted with
an aerodynamic package specifically aimed at the next round of the
Championship, which takes place on 15th June, at the Montreal circuit
in Canada.
Masas
completed a total of 65 laps, with a best time of 1.23.281. Barrichello
covered 76 laps, with a quickest time of 1.22.929.
The Scuderia continues testing tomorrow,
according to the following programme: Felipe Massa will remain on
track at Monza, while at Fiorano, Luca Badoer will carry out the
shakedown of the F2003-GA cars which will be used in the Canadian
Grand Prix. |
