Q & A with Schumacher - 12th May 11:29am GMT

Q: Michael, it's six months into your retirement now. Where are you at? How is your life? What do you think about when you wake up in the morning? How structured is your life?
Michael Schumacher: Well, it is certainly very obvious that there is a life after Formula One. It is an interesting experience to wake up in the morning and not have to think about racing but about your family and about new goals.

Q: You still look pretty fit. What is your work out regime - do you work out at all?
MS: Everybody knows my passion for soccer. That is what I basically do to keep fit.

Q: Do you have a specific role here this weekend with Ferrari or do you just observe?
MS: I am just observing.

Q: Do you think that your presence here this weekend could distract the team from their normal operations?
MS: If that would be the case I would not be here.

Q: Will you give Felipe (Massa) your advice during the weekend?
MS: No, he is doing a great job - he is delivering, he simply doesn’t need anybody’s advice any more.

Q: What is your opinion on Kimi (Raikkonen) and the job he is doing?
MS: It is not part of my work to analyse his situation. I have my view but I don’t think it is my job to make that public. I don’t see any reason.

Q: How exciting is it to see the new generation in Formula One racing?
MS: It is very exciting to watch the races, see all those new faces, see their competition. I simply like to watch it.

Q: Do you have any ambitions to be a team owner one day - or to run Ferrari?
MS: Neither nor. It’s simply not interesting me.

Q: Might we see you in a racing car sometime in the future?
MS: I am quite happy how it is at the moment and going back into a car seems more than unrealistic. In the future - who knows?

Q: Can you describe your emotions when Ferrari has a good day and wins, now that you are no longer in the cockpit?
MS: It is and always was the team that counts. Ferrari was always the number one priority - it’s not about a single person. You celebrate together, you feel together - you win together.
