Well
the new gearbox in Rubens F2005 lasted a grand total of just over
3 minutes before packing up. Ferrari have confirmed that its the
same problem as what occurred on Friday.
Ferrari
have made the decision to stick with the F2005 and not the run spare
which was the F2004 M. The mechanics will go about repairing either
today's 'new' gearbox or Friday's gearbox.
Rubens
will still start 15th on the grid but its abit touch and go as to
whether he can finish the race. The F2005 seems reliable as Michael
hasn't had any problems but if Rubens is going to use a gearbox
which has already failed then his chances of finishing the race
have been reduced. |
