Drivers don't want to be slowed down - 10th April 09:19am GMT

Michael Schumacher has spoke out about FIA's decision to try and slow down Formula 1 cars. Michael feels that there is no need to slow them down.

On the final day of testing in Barcelona it came to light that Max Mosley, the head of the FIA will try and help the F1 technical working group make sure that cars are slowed down.

"The question is, if we need to slow down the cars, you have to think about why we are doing this now," Schumacher told UK magazines, Autosport. "Yes, the speeds have increased in the last few years, but I don't think that they are dangerous or problematic. I don't think we need to make a change. There is no need to panic at the moment."

Barrichello felt the same way: "Before we change anything we have to sit down and discuss it. We can't rush into anything. I don't see any reason why we should change things."
