Michael Schumacher is confident to race the F2003-GA at Imola in two weeks time. "I believe we will compete with the new car", said the five time world champion during a visit to the 'Automobil International' (AMI) in Leipzig.

"We already won with the old car and now we are getting the new one, which is a lot better. We have no reason to panic", said Schumacher.

Schumacher, who hasn't been on the podium after the first three races this season, hopes he will return soon to the top step of the podium. The best place would be the Grand Prix of San Marino infront of the Ferrari fans. "In the past we always said, that we make one mistake each season. Now we made three mistakes in succession. But we also have to accept such a period", Michael Schumacher said. He also wants to forget the F2002 as soon as possible. "We all hope, that we won't have to race it for much longer."

Two days after the Grand Prix in Sao Paulo, the 34 year old still showed himself to be suprised, that it was generally allowed to change the wing settings in-between qualifying and the race. "It is difficult, when you suddenly have these rules, which are changed and modified over again. You are also losing confidence because of that", said Michael. If that happens because of safety, a second rain tyre should also be allowed. "We have two dry, but only one rain tyre, thats a bit incomprehensible. I hope, that this will end soon. But it will be decided by gentleman who don't sit in a car very often."
