Free Practice may not have
given opportunity to assess the actual competitiveness of each of
the teams, but this weekend did bring part of their new car with
them.
The
cars to be used this weekend are essentially the same as used in
the opening two rounds, with one important difference: the F2002
are fitted with the rear wing developed for the F2003-GA.
The
rear wing is a safe bet and won't cause many problems with setup
or fixing to the car. With the likes of Mclaren, Renault etc getting
closer to Ferrari then adding extra aerodynamic features should
open up the advantage abit. The difference in the new F2003 GA wing
doesn't look much compared to the new 2002 wing though.
