Circuit:
Autdromo del Mugello, 5.245 km - short course 2.760 km First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro. Luca Badoer was at the wheel at the Mugello circuit, for a test programme with the F2003-GA. Unfortunately, after a handful of laps, Badoer went off the track at the Arrabbiata 1 corner and crashed very heavily into the barriers. Initial analysis points to a mechanical problem. The driver is in good physical condition. After undergoing checks at a hospital in Florence, he was able to go home. The car was seriously damaged and has been taken back to Maranello for a detailed examination. The
Scuderia continues testing tomorrow at the Fiorano circuit, with
Felipe Massa driving an F2002. |
