Brundle thinks Schumi is past it - 5th March 19:33pm GMT

Martin Brundle in his latest column in the Sunday Times has wrote that he know longer thinks that Michael Schumacher is the best driver in F1 and can be beaten by Kimi of Fernando in the same car. But then again, this is the man that manages Coulthard, need I say more?

"I believe that in equal equipment, Schumacher would not now beat Alonso or Raikkonen. I saw it at Brazil last year and again in Istanbul, when the German looked like a good driver rather than a superb one. Maybe it was the car or the tyres, but I was convinced he had backed off a little. We saw it again when he was passed around the outside of 130R at Suzuka by Alonso. It doesn’t mean he can’t win races, and if Bridgestone comes up with the best tyre at certain tracks, I could see him taking some wins. But we are reaching the end of an era."
