With
all the talk on the web of Ferrari bringing forward the debut of
the F2005 it leaves the question on just how they are going to implement
it.
Michael
Schumacher will have a new engine for the Malaysian GP and because
of this under the new ruling they won't be allowed to change it
until after the Bahraini GP. So if Ferrari bring the F2005 to Bahrain
it technically have to start from the back of the grid because it
would have the new 2005 engine which is designed to fit in the F2005.
So Ferrari are left with the following options:
1) Delay the debut of the F2005 until Spain (round 5)
2) Give Barrichello the F2005 for Bahrain and Michael sticks with
the F2004M
3) Run the F2005 in Bahrain and face the penalty
4) Retire at the Malaysian GP so they can fit a new engine for Bahrain
Rubens
won't have any trouble if they decide to run the F2005 in Bahrain.
Whether he retires or finishes the race, Ferrari are entitled to
change the engine for Bahrain.
The F2005 won't be tested this week as its left
to Gene and Badoer to run the F2004M. |
