Day 4 of testing - Jerez - 28th Feb 19:36pm GMT

Circuit: Jerez circuit, 4.428 km
Driver: Luca Badoer
Car: F2003-GA and F2002
Weather: air temperature 18 °C, track temperature 24/25 °C. Sunny.

Fourth and final day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Jerez circuit. Once again, Luca Badoer was driving, at the wheel of both an F2003-GA and an F2002.

The test programme ended ahead of schedule when the Italian driver went off the track in the late morning, while driving the F2003-GA. Badoer emerged unscathed after hitting the crash barrier, but the car did sustain some damage. The accident occurred as a result of a technical problem, traced to the right rear corner of the car, which occurred under braking. Engineers will study the causes of the problem once the car is back in Maranello.

Up to this point, Badoer had completed 47 laps: 8 with the F2002 (best time 1'19''920) and 39 in the F2003-GA (1'18''954.)
