Baldiserri replaced by Dyer - CONFIRMED - 27th Feb 21:33pm GMT

Twice last year I reported on this website that Michael Schumacher's race engineer, Luca Baldiserri was to retire at the end of the season and that his replacement would be Australian born Chris Dyer.

Ferrari have not made any official statement on this bit of news and no other website has reported it but today while I was reading through the Official Ferrari F2003 GA Press Pack (see shop) they list the top men at the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro team for the 2003 season. Luca Baldiserri isn't listed under Schumacher's engineer, in fact he isn't listed at all in the list, instead its Chris Dyer.

So who is Chris Dyer? Well for a couple of races towards the end of last season Chris Dyer was Schumacher's race engineer because Luca Baldiserri replaced Ross Brawn as Ross had back trouble after being driven around Brands Hatch in an Ferrari 360 GT car.

As the articles from last year have been wiped from the server I still have the original on the forum. View it here.
