Schumi receives another new helmet - 20th Feb 19:09pm GMT

Michael Schumacher to race this season with yet another new helmet. This one costing well over £10,000

Techies at German firm Schuberth designed the headgear to help reduce engine roar from the world champion's Ferrari.

Schuberth chief engineer Oliver Schimpf explained: "Michael's ears are bombarded with 114 decibels of sound - that's as loud as a pneumatic drill.

"With our helmet, Michael only hears 98 decibels - like he's in a loud disco."

Schuey will also need to breathe through a special tube as the new helmet is sealed around his head.
