Circuit:
Autodromo “Enzo e Dino Ferrari”, 4.933 km First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Imola circuit, with Michael Schumacher and Luca Badoer driving today. Schumacher began the session at the wheel of the F2003-GA. Having completed 8 laps (best time 1’24”250,) the driver noticed a problem on the car and chose to come into the pits, where the crew carried out a complete overhaul of the car. Schumacher then continued the test in an F2002, concentrating on tyre testing and set-up work. He covered a total of 43 laps, the quickest in 1’21”617. Luca Badoer shook down an F2002 which will be used for a long run test tomorrow. The Scuderia’s official test driver completed 15 laps (best time 1’25”090.) Testing continues at this track tomorrow, with Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello driving. |
