Schumi as the boss is dismissed - 14th February 22:26pm GMT

Ferrari have dismissed speculation Michael Schumacher is being groomed to take over as team boss.

Reports in Germany suggested the seven-time world champion, who is involved in Ferrari's preparations for the 2007 season, had opened talks with the Italian team.

But Ferrari's communications manager Luca Colajanni said: "Michael is clearly involved with the team, but this report is nonsense."

Schumacher has had all test data and times communicated to him at home, and has been charged with helping his successor, Kimi Raikkonen, settle into his new team.
