First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working today at the “Ricardo Tormo” circuit in Valencia, with both its race drivers.

The day’s programme focussed on tyre testing and, for Schumacher, endurance running. The final figures are as follows: 90 laps for the reigning world champion (best time (1’11”355) and 85 for Barrichello (1’11”699.)

Testing continues at this circuit tomorrow, once again with Schumacher and Barrichello on track.
