First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the “Enzo e Dino Ferrari” circuit in Imola. Luca Badoer took to the track today, at the wheel of an F2003-GA. The Scuderia’s official test driver was working on a tyre test programme.

The session ended earlier than planned because of a heavy crash at the Variante Alta corner, from which the driver emerged unscathed. Up to that point, he had covered 58 laps, the quickest in a time of 1’21”412. As a precaution, following the accident, Badoer underwent some checks which ruled out any problem and confirmed that he was fit to drive.

Testing continues tomorrow, once again with Luca Badoer on track.
