First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Catalunya circuit, near Barcelona. Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello were at the wheel today, working on a tyre test programme.

The two Ferrari men set the two best times on the day: Barrichello was quickest in 1’16”900 (64 laps) and Schumacher did a 1’17”282 (88 laps.)

Schumacher and Barrichello continue testing here tomorrow.
