16:59 - Alonso stops on the main straight. Fire marshal lets an extinguisher go on the rear of the car.

16:56 - Vettel leaves it late in the day to climb to 8th. 4mins left and de la Rosa, Nakajima, Raikkonen, Bourdais, Alonso, Coulthard, Rosberg are all on track.

16:41 - BMW have packed up for the day. Nick has returned to the motorhome. Currently running is Massa, Kovalainen, Nakajima and Glock.

14:48 - RED FLAG - Wurz into the tyre wall at turn 3.

14:39 - Rosberg goes 3rd. Alonso now out on track.

14:32 - de la Rosa, Trulli, and Massa now on track.

14:29 - Heidfeld and Wurz are the only ones on track now.

14:08 - Kovalainen goes into 3rd whilst de la Rosa, Rosberg and Nakajima take to the track.

13:47 - Trulli & Glock are currently out on circuit.

13:17 - Only Coulthard on track now. Rest on lunch.

13:13 - During the morning, both Vettel and Alonso went off at turns 8-9 on the first warming up laps.

13:07 - Alonso is on lunch. Temperature outside is 21C and rising.

10:35 - Both Ferrari's go straight to the top of the times.

10:32 - Alonso goes fastest on his 4th lap then comes straight in. The track now busy with cars and times are coming down all the time.

10:14 - Nearly all drivers complete an installation lap. Liuzzi is the first to start completing his flying laps.
