Kimi seems pleased to move on - 4th January 19:08pm GMT

In a recent issue of Ilta Sanomat, a Finnish newspaper, Kimi has expressed his interest in getting behind the wheel as quick as possible. "I can go testing a few days after the launch. I have now more eagerness than ever before."

"Mood is really good although I haven't even sat in the car yet. I do visit Ferrari HQ often though. I have already noticed that there is nicer atmosphere than Mclaren, somehow more relaxed. And they arent interested in what papers say about my doings."

On his change of managerment Kimi said: "Dennis is control freak. Jean Todt on the other hand is normal bloke, who does his job well. He has been in rallying and has seen among other things the wild goings on of Finnish drivers outside rally stages, so Todt wont get nervous for small things."

Expect to see Kimi in a Ferrari in about 2 weeks time.
