First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working today at the Catalunya Circuit, near Barcelona.

At the track which hosts the Spanish Grand Prix, Michael Schumacher made his first appearance of the season. At the wheel of an F2004, in standard configuration, the world champion tackled a programme of developing new components and Bridgestone tyres. Schumacher completed a total of 104 laps, the quickest in a time of 1’14”834.

Testing continues tomorrow, once again with Michael Schumacher on track.
