grand prix driver Mika Salo is set to make his return to the Formula
1 cockpit later this year, after the Finn revealed that his contract
with the Maserati sportscar team includes the guarantee of a test
with world champion Ferrari. “I've seen the testing schedule for the season and my name is put down to a number of days of testing,” added Salo in an interview with Turun Sanomat. “So I'm expecting to do a lot more running than what was initially planned.” This brings Ferrari's 2005 driver rosta to six, two race drivers with four test drivers. Its likely that Michael, Rubens, Luca and Marc will do the bulk of the testing in both Italy and outside while Mika and Andrea will only work inside Italy. Current
