World champions Ferrari will unveil
their new Formula One car on January 26, the team said on Saturday.
Ferrari, with Michael Schumacher seeking a record
seventh drivers' championship while they chase a sixth constructors'
title in a row, will launch the 2004 challenger at their Maranello
factory.
Main rivals Williams, with Schumacher's younger
brother Ralf, and McLaren already have their 2004 cars out on the
track in testing.
Ferrari have started the last two seasons with the
previous year's car but new engine regulations mean they are almost
certain to begin the championship in Melbourne on March 7 with the
new chassis.
