First day of testing of 2004 for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, which chose the Jerez circuit in southern Spain for its seasonal debut. Luca Badoer and Felipe Massa took to the track today, with three F2003-GA at their disposal. The day's technical programme centred on electronics and tyre testing.

Both drivers completed 59 laps each: Massa set a best time of 1:18.996, while Badoer did a 1:19.182.
