| Rubens contract rumours - 06th January 18:14pm GMT |
Rumours are circulating the net that Luca di Montezemolo has said that Rubens has not signed a contract with Ferrari for another 2 years and they are still talking with him. The rumours I have heard are abit different from that on other sites and news coming from Maranello indicates that Rubens contract has been extended for another year not two which was indicated so he sees our 2004 and 2005 seasons. The reason behind the one year extension? There are various contracts up at the end of 2005 with other younger drivers and if Massa is part of Ferrari then 2 years in F1 with Sauber should of got the young guy more experience before he switches to a seat at Ferrari.
