Day 3 of testing - Jerez - 9th Jan 18:38pm GMT

Circuit: Jerez Circuit, 4.428 km
Drivers: Luca Badoer and Luciano Burti, F2002 chassis n° 217, 220 and 221
Weather: air temperature 8/15 °C, track temperature 9/19 °C. Cloudy and rain in the morning, then sunny, and finally more rain.

Third day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro. Once again today, both Luca Badoer and Luciano Burti took to the track.

The day’s programme centred on a continuation of the tyre and electronics testing which began on Tuesday. Badoer completed 68 laps in all, setting a best time of 1’21”708; Burti did 73, his quickest in 1’23”278.

Also running were the BMW-Williams and Renault teams.

Badoer and Burti continue testing at this track tomorrow.
