Second day of testing of the year for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro. Once again today, both Luca Badoer and Luciano Burti took to the track, taking turns behind the wheel of the three F2002 at their disposal.

The day’s programme centred on a continuation of the tyre and electronics testing which began yesterday. Badoer completed 52 laps in all, setting a best time of 1’27”215; Burti did 50, his quickest in 1’27”706.

Also running were the BMW-Williams and Renault teams.

Badoer and Burti continue testing tomorrow.
