| Circuit:
Jerez Circuit, 4.428 km Drivers: Luca Badoer and Luciano Burti, F2002 chassis n° 217, 220 and 221 Weather: air temperature 9/16 °C, track temperature 10/17 °C, cloudy, then rain. First day of testing of the year for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro. Today, both Luca Badoer and Luciano Burti took to the track at Jerez, taking turns behind the wheel of the three F2002 at their disposal. The day’s programme centred on tyre and electronics testing. Badoer completed 59 laps in all, setting a best time of 1’20”871; Burti did one less lap, his quickest in 1’21”029. Also running was the BMW-Williams team. Ralf Schumacher did 78 laps (best time 1’21”009,) Marc Gene 57 (1’22”241.) Badoer
and Burti continue testing tomorrow. |
